How do I make a reservation? Reservations
Parties of 6 or fewer: use Reserve a Table (OpenTable) on this site.
Parties of 7 or more: OpenTable cannot book larger parties — please call (757) 378-3486 during open hours.
We do not accept reservation requests through the contact form.
Can I reserve a specific table? Reservations
Yes. We can reserve a specific table for you if you let us know in advance.
Please keep in mind that the table you want may already be reserved for another guest at the same date and time. If that happens, we will offer a different time or another table.
I have a reservation for 4, but a couple more friends want to join. Can we show up as a party of 6? Reservations
We’re glad your group is growing — but we may not have a table for 6 available at your reserved time.
The best approach is to call us right away so we can either move you to a larger table if one is free at the same time, or offer a different time that fits your larger party. Please don’t simply show up with extra guests without updating the reservation.
Can I order food to-go? Food & Drinks
Yes. Place a to-go / pickup order online through SpotOn:
You can also ask about Family Dinner Specials (to-go / pickup only) on our Family Dinner Specials page.
What’s good here? Food & Drinks
We have a wide range of proteins and sauces — veal, chicken, seafood, pasta, pizza, and house specialties — so there’s room for both comfort favorites and new discoveries. As some of our regulars put it, “You have many good reasons to come back.”
Our advice: order what you love most tonight, then try something new next time (or take a second favorite to-go).
Do you offer catering? General
Yes — packages and chafing trays for events. See our Catering page to build a request.
Do House Specialties come with pasta? Food & Drinks
Yes — most House Specialties are served with linguini in the same sauce described for that dish.
There are two exceptions based on the menu description:
- If vegetables are mentioned (and pasta is not), it is a vegetable plate, not a pasta dish.
- If rice is mentioned, it is served with rice, not pasta.
When in doubt, check the dish description on the menu or ask your server.
Do you get salad with a meal? Food & Drinks
Yes — we serve a complimentary house salad and garlic knots with each pasta or house specialty dish you order.
Complimentary salads are not included with appetizers, pizzas, sides, or sandwiches (sandwiches are available at lunch).
House salads are served family-style in a bowl with our homemade Italian dressing — sized for the guests whose entrees include salad.
Example: A table of four where three people order pasta and one orders pizza receives a family-style salad for three (welcome to share). The guest who ordered pizza can add a side salad if they like — that brings the bowl up to a serving for four.
Do you have parking? General
Yes. There is plenty of free parking available at the restaurant.
Do you have a patio / outside seating? General
Yes — we have patio (outside) seating when conditions allow.
We do not take advance reservations specifically for patio tables, because the weather can change. If there is even a slight chance of rain, we generally will not seat guests outside. If the dining room is full and it starts to rain, we may not be able to move you inside — and that would spoil the meal for everyone.
We also do not serve on the patio when it is too hot or too cold for a comfortable dining experience.
The best way to check patio availability is to call us the same day you plan to visit.
What is the $6 sharing fee? Food & Drinks
Our $6 sharing fee is a small upcharge when two guests share one entrée instead of ordering two full plates.
Example: Two guests who aren’t as hungry as usual might share one Chicken Parmigiana ($26) rather than ordering two. You pay for one dish plus a $6 sharing fee — and we plate it as a slightly larger portion split onto two plates.
You still receive the usual complimentary house salad for two (family-style in a bowl) and garlic knots when the shared dish is a pasta or house specialty that includes them.
It’s a lighter way to dine together while still getting a proper serving — for just a little more than a single entrée.
Ask your server if you’d like to share an entrée this way.
Where are you located? General
4854 Longhill Road, Williamsburg, VA 23188
Corner of Longhill Road and Olde Towne Road
I know there is a Tuscany restaurant in Newport News, VA. Is that the same owner? General
No. Tuscany Restaurant in Newport News was previously owned by Aldo Bertuglia, but he sold that restaurant around 2016.
The Newport News location is not affiliated with Tuscany Ristorante Italiano in Williamsburg, even though the menus may look similar.
Do you have Wi‑Fi? General
Unfortunately, we do not offer Wi‑Fi for guests. We hope you enjoy the meal and the company at the table instead.
Do you have a baby changing table in your restrooms? General
No. We do not currently have baby changing tables in our restrooms.
Do you have a kids menu? Food & Drinks
Yes — favorites for guests 12 and under. See the Kids Menu.
Do you have a bartender? Food & Drinks
All of our servers are trained to make bar drinks. We do not keep a dedicated bartender stationed at the bar at all times.
During busy periods, it is more efficient for several servers to prepare drinks at the same time than for one or two bartenders to make every cocktail while other guests wait. Your server can take care of your drink order at the table.
Can you accommodate allergies or dietary needs? Food & Drinks
Please tell your server about any allergies when you order. Many dishes are made to order; we will do our best to help. For severe allergies, call ahead during open hours so we can advise.
Do you take walk-ins? Reservations
Yes — we welcome walk-ins based on availability. We also take reservations, and when tables are fully reserved we may not be able to seat walk-in guests.
Even if the dining room looks quiet when you arrive, the evening can fill up quickly. Guests often start coming in one after another, and if several reservations are on the books for later, there is only so much we can accommodate without a plan.
That is why it is always better to make a reservation. It takes only a couple of minutes and can save you time — and disappointment — later. Reservations are especially recommended on Fridays and Saturdays.
For parties of 6 or fewer, book online with OpenTable. For larger groups, please call us.
You said you were fully booked, but I saw several empty tables. What’s going on? Reservations
Those empty tables are usually held for reservations arriving soon — often within the next 30–45 minutes.
We cannot seat a walk-in party at a table that is due back so quickly. There would not be enough time for a proper meal, and we would not want you to feel rushed — or leave the next guests waiting.
If a table is free and its next reservation is at least about 1 hour and 15 minutes away, we will often offer that table to walk-ins with a clear time limit, so you can enjoy dinner and the table is ready for the reservation that follows.
When in doubt, a reservation is the best way to secure a seat for the time you want.
What if I call when you’re closed? General
Outside open hours, our site will let you know we’re closed and point you to reservations, this FAQ, or to-go ordering so you can still get what you need without waiting on a missed call.
Do you have a military discount? Policies
Yes. We offer a 10% military discount on your meal. Alcohol is not included in the discount.
You must present a valid military ID to receive this discount.
Do you have a cork fee? Policies
Yes — our corkage fee is $10 per bottle.
Are you allowed to bring an outside cake or cupcakes? Policies
Yes. You are welcome to bring an outside cake or cupcakes for your celebration. There is currently no fee for this.
Please note that we do not cut or serve outside cakes or cupcakes to your guests. We may provide plates and forks so you can serve the dessert yourselves.
I have a picture of my ID, but I don’t have an actual ID. Can I get a drink? Policies
No. A photo of an ID is not enough.
To serve alcohol, we must be able to verify that you are 21 or older with a valid, physical form of identification that includes your photograph, signature, height, and date of birth (for example, a valid driver’s license, passport, military ID, or other government-issued ID accepted under Virginia ABC guidance). Student IDs are not accepted as proof of age.
Please bring a valid ID so we can serve you responsibly and follow Virginia law.

I am definitely 21+. Why do I get asked to show ID to order a drink? Policies
Even when someone looks well over 21, our team may still ask for ID. We do this to protect our guests, our staff, and the restaurant — and to follow Virginia ABC best practices for preventing underage sales.
Virginia law requires that alcohol not be sold to anyone under 21. There is no legal requirement to check ID in every case, but requesting and carefully examining a valid ID is the best way to verify age. Appearance alone can be misleading, and staff are trained not to rely on looks.
Asking for ID is also about consistency and safety: it keeps service fair for everyone, reduces honest mistakes, and helps us stay in compliance if we are ever checked by ABC or law enforcement. We appreciate your patience — a quick glance at a valid ID keeps the evening enjoyable for everyone.
